Tutoring and Mentoring Program at UCHS:
Tutor or mentor disadvantaged students with MCCE!
We believe that through education, students from all backgrounds can begin to use their social and academic skills to breakdown stereotypes to create a more equal and welcoming society.
To do this, we have worked with a local high school to start a program that provides students with the means to succeed in the classroom and beyond, through creative and engaging tutoring. Our volunteering program focuses on University City High School. It has a diverse student body of roughly 2000 students from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. We work with a variety of classes to help provide students with supplemental resources for greater achievement.
